THE FIRST INSURANCE YOU CAN CLOSE VIA FACEBOOK, THAT MAKES EVERYONE WITH A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT A POTENTIAL CLIENT FOR US
All you need to close an insurance via Kroodle, is a Facebook Account. No bullshit with passports or autographs, your facebook identity will do. That's why when nudnik was asked to launch Kroodle, we decided to aim at everyone and anyone in the Netherlands who was on Facebook, both online and offline.
But since there are 9 million people on Facebook, we decided to narrow it down a bit. For example: "Today Kroodle will hand out welcome gifts to everyone with facebook who are wearing red trousers" or "Today Kroodle will hand out welcome gifts to everyone with facebook at the KamaSutra Fair" etcetera... nudnik created special 'ghostbuster'-like gift backpacks, so we could give people a little 'welcome to Kroodle' -gift. All you needed to do was like Kroodle on facebook, or show us you had an FB account.
The gifts contained a 'superhero mobile protector' that protected the headphone socket in your phone from dust and sand and a unique code that allowed you to win supercool gadgets. Online we gave away digital presents like 'do not disturb' coverphoto's for your facebook page, screensavers, and wallpapers.
As a Facebook Campaign, we used Rich media Posts and asked people to tag their friends in their annoying Facebook rituals like: "Today Kroodle gives away welcome gifts to all the Zen Quote sharers on Facebook" or "Today Kroodle gives away welcome gifts to all the 'My baby needs his own Facebook page-parents" You could click in the post and download your present. Insurances made fun!
